If there is a genre he hasn't mastered yet, he will try to, and won't give up until he has accomplished it. Giving a name to his style would be quite difficult, since he enjoys making pretty much every genre, although he does main in the electronica.

With the recent departure of Emperor Ubermench, Lampy and Legion, our workflow and output of submissions over here on bmd has been severely crippled, due to this we now add two new members to our little family!

Please welcome both; LoreRD and Magnitude Zero.

Our current 'family' consists of: Freewave, Magnitude Zero, Matthew N,  LFP, and LoreRD.

DJ Midlis’ smashed the Ontario/Quebec convention scene raves at N2U, G-Anime, and Cape et Kimono. He’s also been heard at the Ottawa youth gay pride week, DJing at both their pride opener and pride prom. His love of all things fluffy, cute, and colorful made him fall in love with MLP and brony culture. He leads the Algonquin Bronies, the Ottawa Bronies, and Ottawa's Brony convention TROTttawa. He's also deputy of PR for BronyCAN, Canada's national pony convention. Despite all this, he still finds time to DJ every Saturday night on Everfree Network's Mixology. He's also behind the BronyMix series of youtube mixes.

Something we don't see too often, ladies and gents - a producer from South Korea. He's got one of the best remixes of the well-known song by Makkon, and it would have been a shame to not have him down in our database. I think music is a pure and direct way of expression, and thus, I always try to tell a story with my tracks. I like to compose all kinds of music, but I guess my main genre would be sountracks/orchestral stuff. Still though, as I said, I like to compose all kinds of different genres and experiment.

"I try to make all different styles of music. I play piano, some drums, a bit of guitar, and basically anything I can get my hands on if given the chance. For the time being, I've been making electronic music while obtaining vocals by my request to put into the songs. I was expecting to get into the progressive house style, but I have found a much better interest in songs within any genre of electronic music. However, if I had to classify all my songs under one genre, it would technically be pop. If "electronic" is a musical genre, that would be a good classification, as well."

I think we really got some great music on this compilation and it’s in an array of different styles and just goes to show a great track is great whether it’s viewed by a hundred people or a thousand and hopefully this will give you a chance to know some brony musicians that you might have missed out on. Thanks to all who took part in this (whether you made it onto the compilation or not) and we aim to repeat this event on a monthly basis so we are also kicking off round 2 as well.

If you have a music track on youtube with less than a 1,000 views that was published between April and June of this year (that’s THREE months) consider submitting it for Second Chances 2! This time we’d like you to submit not just a youtube link but also a link to a WAV of your track (so i won’t have to scramble at the last minute like i did this first round). Like before there’s a few others rules but that’s the basic premise. If you don’t have music that goes that far back don’t worry. When we get to a third round in a month we’ll pick back up where we left on round one (Aug 16-all of Sep tracks and then just full months after that).
