Loudmouth was one of the smoothest house tracks we've heard in a great while and has to be one of my favorites of the year so far. They've followed that up with the dubstep and house hybrid track "Luna Eclipsed" and had the electro meets house "Pinkie's Jam" before that. While that's only 3 tracks, and it's been about 3 months since we've seen something else come out, we've been told that they are had at work for more. Interesting fact that Mindset is a duo and as soon as I wrote their profile they dropped a new moombahton track!

Daring may be young and relatively new to the community (and still coming of age musically), but he's also one of the nicest and most sociable bronies. A wonderful person to know, quick to comment on other's tracks and subscribe, he's just the brony you'd want in your corner. One to watch as he is still trying a variety of music styles (some verging on trollcore) in an effort to get his cutie mark.

Sadsic is a brony who has been with the community from it's early stages. Entering tracks on Toast Beard since ZIQ01, he does a great job of making music outside the norm. Whether it's the glitch-hop of "Granulated Pony", the thrash house of "Ponycast", or the IDM of "Honey (with sci)" it's quite a departure from what other produce even attempt. While the majority of his music on Bandcamp and SoundCloud is non-pony music he is definitely a brony and a Toast Beard veteran that pushes the envelope in an exciting direction.

Another amazing brony musician from Mexico, CAC has done some wonderful and ornate rock covers of MLP tunes, most of them included in their Bandcamp album "My Little PonY RocK!". He also has the album "Sounds of a Pony Soul", which is more electronic and is a fusion between pony and space music. It features floating orchestral sounds and vintage electronics mixing with great ambient music. These tracks are also easily available on his Youtube and are recommended listens.

Grand Opening!

Well at some point we were planning to have an official grand opening for the site and today is that day! Then again at 3,000+ hits we are hardly a secret (so thanks for the early buzz). While we still have quite a few musicians to get onto our site I think we've come a long way in the past couple of weeks in such a short time frame. Thanks to Legion and Glitchhog for all their amazing help on this site and I think we have a fourth author who should be joining us today, Derpidety (yay and welcome). We have no plans to stop now and will continue to add artists large and small, old and new.

Now what we need from you is to get other bronies and brony sites aware of this site and it's use a resource for the whole music community; artists and fans. Please let Equestria Daily know of our site as it's central that we get the community to find us and help make us useful to that whole community. Also any other major brony music site, blog, or radio station we'd like to link on the side (and we'd like you to link us back). Feel free to let us know any sites we should include and if and when EqD gets us on there (my email was already sent). Again thanks to the brony community for rallying around this site and project and we hope it gets even further use when more people know of us and we expand our vision and site. Charity album 3: FAITHFUL AND STRONG <---Recently Concluded

The musicians over at My Little Remix are now putting their finishing touches to the soon-to-be-released Seeds of Kindness charity album, which is looking to be over two hours long! You can already find quite a few previews in the playlist above. For the big launch on April 29th, EverFree Radio hosted at noon ET a livestream of the album, and dozens of musicians were there. It also premiered the Massive Smile Project, an amazing cover of Daniel Ingram’s Smile song, performed by 11 soloists and more than 160 choir singers! DJ Amaya has a handful of pony progressive house remixes, very much in the same vein of Simgretina. While he appeara to have only done two tracks ("MLP Theme" and "Winter Wrap Up"), they were standouta early on. Another awesome (and popular) orchestral musician from the brony scene, he has a number of albums on Bandcamp and loads of videos on Youtube. He is not limited to classical music though, as he actually has 2 non-orchestral Bandcamp albums, each appropriately named PoniFolk and PoniTronic, and been nailing both darkwave and synthpop as the artist of our electric dreams. As expected, you will hear the occasional bagpipe creep up in his music to match his namesake (as he does play that). He is currently fulfilling his dream of becoming a future film composer.

bronyMirage has an amazing assortment of hardcore tracks, and while ponycore is a genre name that is pretty despised, in this case it might be actually quite apt. Tracks like "Vinyl's Vibrator" and "The Fun Has Been Doubled" have been well received and are indicative of the onslaught of pony hardcore music that you'll be experiencing. You won't find him on Youtube, so go on and run to his SoundCloud or Bandcamp if you want a plethora of pony perfection (pun!).

The Beatle Bronies' adaptions of Beatles tunes into Pony tunes (by changing the lyrics of the songs into MLP focused tracks) may have made them a one-trick pony, but they have found quite a few fans, a big spotlight in the fandom, and a Bandcamp page with album titles and covers that mirror their respective originals. Perhaps their greatest achievement is honoring both the pony and Beatles communities and being one of the only pony bands (multiple members of the band all united by the internet) running. All You Need is Ponies!

Another one-pony wonder, Ken's electro-house tribute to ponies was just a stopover in a music career that's built on mostly video game and cartoon music. It's such a solid party tune and a massive anthem that we can forgive it for being less pony than some of our tracks, as it's still one of our favorite club tunes. It has found new life in some awesome brony remixes by artists like Alex S and TaisiKP (there are 2 versions by him, actually), so there's multiple ways of experiencing this awesome track.

Swagberg is one of those rare artists that dropped a massive pony anthem but never identified themselves as a brony artist as this was a one-hit affair (although quite a few remixes exist). He is a prominant nerd-core artist on SoundCloud and Bandcamp, and Pony Swag is perhaps the earliest hip-hop tracks dedicated to the show, as well as one of the most visible tracks from outside our community. It samples and shouts out PinkiePieSwear and Not a Clever Pony, but it's the wordplay about us and MLP that is the real tribute to us, and we love him back for it.
