"I am a rapper who can and has rapped to most genres of electronic music. I'm very very into music and although i don't always have time for writing or recording, it does take precedence for all free time i have."
As a musician that refuses to be rooted to a certain style, Olivebates enjoys exploring new genres of music. If there is a genre he hasn't mastered yet, he will try to, and won't give up until he has accomplished it. Giving a name to his style would be quite difficult, since he enjoys making pretty much every genre, although he does main in the electronica.
With the recent departure of Emperor Ubermench, Lampy and Legion, our workflow and output of submissions over here on bmd has been severely crippled, due to this we now add two new members to our little family!
Our current 'family' consists of: Freewave, Magnitude Zero, Matthew N, LFP, and LoreRD.
We'll be looking to put out the submissions you so kindly submit to us at a much faster rate and continue our never ending improvement! Any ideas for growth you would like to see? Let us know any suggestions!

DJ Midlis’ smashed the Ontario/Quebec convention scene raves at N2U, G-Anime, and Cape et Kimono. He’s also been heard at the Ottawa youth gay pride week, DJing at both their pride opener and pride prom. His love of all things fluffy, cute, and colorful made him fall in love with MLP and brony culture. He leads the Algonquin Bronies, the Ottawa Bronies, and Ottawa's Brony convention TROTttawa. He's also deputy of PR for BronyCAN, Canada's national pony convention. Despite all this, he still finds time to DJ every Saturday night on Everfree Network's Mixology. He's also behind the BronyMix series of youtube mixes.
Notable track: DJ Midli - Brony Mix Vol 1 House/Electro/Dub
Something we don't see too often, ladies and gents - a producer from South Korea. He's got one of the best remixes of the well-known song by Makkon, and it would have been a shame to not have him down in our database. He himself says he knows nothing about genres, but his favourite ones include electro and rock. Definitely something worth listening to!

Kinda slowly, though. Stay posted as I have something in progress. :>''

I think music is a pure and direct way of expression, and thus, I always try to tell a story with my tracks. I like to compose all kinds of music, but I guess my main genre would be sountracks/orchestral stuff. Still though, as I said, I like to compose all kinds of different genres and experiment. My main inspirations are Nobuo Uematsu, Motoi Sakuraba, Bill Brown, Jeremy Soule, Howard Shore and Hans Zimmer, along many others. I really enjoy being able to share my expression with everybody, and I'd like to thank you all for your time and support. Thank you, and I hope you like my stuff!''
"I
don't really have a specific genre - I just make various styles of EDM,
along with piano covers of the show's songs. For the next few months,
though, my rate of producing songs will be much lower, as I have
theatre, band, and a few AP and honors classes (meaning more work than I
know what to do with). I'll still try to produce fairly often, though,
and I'm happy to socialise with anyone."
"I consider myself THE black brony rapper. I do all types of rap styles
from Will Smith to speed rapping to dubstep rapping. I love the
community and really wanted to get involved with all these amazing
artists. Rapping was something I've always been interested in trying and
I haven't looked back since. My goal is not just to be a better rapper,
but constantly do things nopony else is doing and push the limits of music itself."
"I
make electronic music, usually dubstep and drumstep. I tend to
experiment in other genres just for fun. I'm a fairly slow producer, and
completion times for songs vary from one week to 2 months, depending on
if I feel like working on it. I have exactly 2 pony songs, so I barely qualify but I hope i get in!"
" I've always wanted to be a musician, but I started wanting to make pony
music around September/October of 2011. I picked up FL Studio and
started learning it, and in June of 2012, I finally released my first
song, Club Life (Vinyl's Thoughts). I don't really view myself to be on
the level of musicians like Omnipony or Alex S, JackleApp or
NotACleverPony, but I try my hardest, and I'm proud of what I make. If
anyone ever needs some help, be it music or something personal, please
don't hesitate to talk to me on Skype."
"I am an acoustic rock musician at heart, but I
love to cover a variety of styles to keep my skill set sharpened. I
write mostly very laid back rock/folk/acoustic music, and perform
popular covers/parodies."
"I've
been composing for almost 11 months now, and my goal is to make
enjoyable music and spend nothing but time. Everything I use is free and
open to all, from the program (Linux MultiMedia Studio/LMMS) to the
instruments (no VSTs; all soundfonts). It's both challenging and fun,
and it thrills me to see that others enjoy what I've made so far and
actually look forward to what I'll release next. I'm not really sure how
far this will take me, but I'm very thankful for how far I've gone, and
I can't wait to see what lies ahead."
"I've
known about pony music for a while, but I first started getting
involved in it in late April.I've been singing seriously for about 2
years now. I can't really compose anything, all I really do is just sing
to my hearts content!I mostly sing covers, but I also do rap, do the
occasional bit of voice acting, and recently I wrote a set of parody
lyrics.(so I guess that puts me in the vocal department). I'm not really
sure where I'm going musically, all I know is that I love singing and
that I'm having fun with it!"
