For years I have been in love with the Breaks Legend: Elite Force, and no matter how much I tried not to, I have taken nearly 90 precent of my inspiration from him. Though, Access Denied is another artist I am fairly inspired by. I like my music Dark and Dirty and full of breakbeats. ~Agents

"I started making music when I was 11. At that time, I was caught in the world of dancecore/HandsUp, mostly listening to DJ Splash. With the years passing, I got better at what I was doing and tried out different genres. I just kinda make what I feel is fun for me to make. I mostly end up with either electro, house, handsup, or some weird kind of dubstep  complextro. Though my electro house is quite different from everyone else, as far as I've heard. I use multilayered supersaws and use a kind of "rolling" progression with bright melodies!"

"I like mostly to work with pop. Anything that carries a tune though is fine with me. I do remix classical music , which can be seen through my Dr Who remixes but I love remixing any brony music I can get my hands on. Currently all I have is nanostudio, but I am working on getting FL Studio. I've recently been able to add words to my songs, but most of the time they are instrumentals."

" I started making music in the fandom in May of 2013. I really like to make old-school vocal IDM/synth-pop, while using my Microkorg synthesizer as well as a few software-synths for good measure through Fl Studio. Overall I love Analog-synthesis the warm tone it produces."

" I don't write in any particular genre, I just try to write what works and what sounds good to me, and as such I tend to mix things from all genres into what I make. Instead of remixes, I prefer to do a full cover with my own vocals. I try my hardest to tell a story to a listener with word and song just in the way a book would. I'm honored to be appreciated by such a fantastic group of people, and I can only hope to get better as time goes on." He often mixes electronic and rock elements, like frequently having electronic songs with guitar solos.

"I’m a musician who doesn’t like to tie himself down to one genre, but mainly deals with acoustic music (although I’m tinkering with electronic stuff at the moment!). I’ve been a brony since season 1, but didn’t start doing brony music until June 2013. I always wished I had started earlier, but then maybe I wouldn’t have the awesome songs to cover! I’m a self-taught pianist and guitarist, and I also play a little drums too! I’ve got experience in arranging choir and close-harmony acapella music for several voices, and my love for this probably comes out in my work. Vocal harmony is my favourite thing (maybe in the woooorld), which is why it’s usally pretty prevalent in my tracks! <3

Simply put, I will experiment beyond just one genre and as of recently I've been fusing together other forms of music, lets say dubstep drum beats and injecting a rich lush orchestral score to it. That's what goes into a "RiffMix." And with 6+ years of meticulous guitar shredding craftsmanship, it's no wonder why I have a show offy side when given the right opportunity. I've been featured on EqD once before, and composed exclusively for Solraction.

New Interviews!!

Just a reminder that we are doing interviews for BMD and FimMusic now. We'll try to do them as close to a weekly routine as we can. You can check them out here on FIM and we'll link any other ones done by other brony sites as well.

And this one from last week with Evdog.

Past interviews for BMD can be seen here. We have one for Eurobeat Brony and Stars in Autumn.

Disco / Funk

The sounds of the 70's are back in the form of Funk and Disco! We're betting that despite the fact Discord, Luna, and Celestia are the only ones old enough to remember it that you'll enjoy these reto funky sounds. Put on those flared jeans and bring out your disco balls. Even some disco oriented French House will do.

While there's not enough of either to search for, here are some highlights.

Feel free to recommend some artists (artists that  specialize in it) and tracks not included in here in the comments section.
